Education
The Textile Study Group of New York
takes advantage of its New York City location by scheduling
occasional tours
to textile-based
showrooms, industries, art institutions, galleries, and
artists' studios.
We also sponsor studio workshops and seminars by well-known non-member artists. (Photo: Joan Pao) As a part of TSGNY's ongoing effort to develop a wider appreciation for contemporary fiber art, our members give educational lectures and teach workshops in conjunction with the group's exhibitions. TSGNY also sponsors motivational programs about career development presented by members and non-members with specialized professional experience. |
