TSGNY's four-color e-newsletter is published bi-monthly: Sept./Oct., Nov./Dec., Jan./Feb., Mar./Apr., May/June, Summer (July/Aug.). A reminder/update with the date, time, and location of the next meeting and the speaker's name or the program title is sent out in interim months—at the beginning of Oct., Dec., Feb., April, and June. Each newsletter announces the date, time, and place of the next two meetings and provides introductory information about the scheduled speakers or events. Newsletters also keep members up-to-date about matters related to present and future TSGNY affairs. Reports contributed by members about their textile activities are published in each issue; articles by members about topics of special interest are included when available. The final section of the newsletter lists art exhibitions, openings, events, conferences, workshops, competitions, sales, and other opportunities of general interest to all. TSGNY's newsletter is designed for print but distributed via e-mail as a PDF file attachment to be viewed in Adobe Reader. It is published exclusively for the members and friends of the organization.
