CAROLE P. KUNSTADT-- The Charter Oak Cultural Center (21Charter Oak Ave., Hartford CT 06106) in partnership with the Clare Gallery presents Between The Lines: Works by Carole P. Kunstadt, provides a survey of the artist's past and current work. Now through Dec 2014.

LIZ ALPERT FAY, LINDA RAE COUGHLIN, and TRACY JAMAR will be exhibiting alongside 15 other artists in the "Hooked Art 2014."  Presented by Newtown Hooked Art Shows, this is the largest show
of  innovative contemporary hooked art ever assembled; 55 works by 18 artists from the United States and Canada. The awards were juried by Lee Kogan, Curator Emerita, American Folk Art Museum. ANNE KRONENBERG was Artist-in-Residence at the Macy’s Creative Arts Center of Carter Burden/Leonard Covello Senior Program April/September/October 2014. Her work is currently being exhibited in two locations: 
“Paperworks” at Macy’s Creative Arts Center, Carter Burden/Leonard Covello Senior Program, 312 East 109th Street, 3rd floor, NY, NY 10029. October 16 – December 17 2014.

JANET COOPER is showing her work "waiting for Judah" in New Direction '14, the 28th Annual National Juried Art Exhibition, Barrett Art Center, Poughkeepsie, NY September 27-November 8. (Janet was also part of The Fine Craft Show at the Albany Gallery. Five artists used craft materials to make works that attain the status of fine art. September 5 to October 10.)

K. TRACY JAMAR has work in "Varieties of Visual Expression" at the Southampton Community Center's Levitas Center for the Arts, 25 Pond Lane, Southampton, NY. October 7 - November 17, 2014. This is an invitational exhibit curated by Arlene Bujese of 11 local artists.
