I Couldn't Do It Any Other Way

In Rodica Tenenbaum's work, we are connected and reminded of each other through the textured world – the world of nature and the world of invention, the world of the tactile and the world of imagination.   Through yarn in particular, and through stitching more generally, Tenenbaum re-assembles our history and geography with natural and synthetic materials, as well as with the written word, in order to look at old questions with fresh eyes toward the future.
