- Unless your work is installation, please be sure that each image reveals a full frontal view of the work against a plain background – no furniture, equipment, or shadows of such visible. Position your work parallel to the picture plane, centered, and not cut off at the sides, bottom, or top. If, for example, the work is a scarf, tablecloth, or quilt, the piece should be laid out or hung, not folded or draped, unless that is part of the conception of the piece. Crop images showing too much background appropriately. Images of work with a strong design and clean, clear colors show best on the web. Do not send detail views. Professional photography is highly recommended.
