RED will be a non-juried exhibition of works created by members of the Textile Study Group of New York (TSGNY). All artwork in the exhibition will be documented with a printed catalog.

Venue / Dates
RED will be exhibited at the Noho-M55 Gallery at 530 West 25 Street, New York, NY 10001. The gallery is open to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11AM to 6PM. The exhibition will run from December 19, 2017 through January 6, 2018. A reception will be held on Thursday, December 21 from 5 to 8 PM.

Eligibility
Only 2017-2018 full members are eligible to participate in this non-juried exhibition. Newsletter members must upgrade to full membership in order to be eligible. If you are not a current member, you may participate in the exhibition by joining online at http://www.tsgny.org/how-to-join/ or in person at the next meeting. Each member may submit one or two works. All works that meet the specifications below will be included in the exhibition and the catalog.

Artwork Specifications
Artwork must be created on or mounted on the following surface: (12”x12”x.75” Blick Studio Stretched Canvas Traditional Profile SKU# 07135-2004 (available in Blick stores or http://www.dickblick.com/). The predominant color must be red. The work must not project beyond the perimeter limits (12”x12”) and no more than 3” out from surface. Every part of the work must be permanently and securely attached and must involve fiber materials and/or textile structures in its construction. Title of artwork must be limited to 30 characters maximum. Your name and the title of work should be clearly labeled on the back .
NOTE: Members may submit the same work that was in the Bojagi show (must be mounted on the above designated substrate).

Image Submission
Images of artworks are to be submitted on a CD or via email no later than September 30, 2017 along with entry form and fee. Professional photography is essential for catalog inclusion. A high resolution image, formatted as a jpg file, with a resolution of 300 dpi and an image size of at least 6”x6” inches (without border) is required. File should be labeled with the artist’s name and title of work, (E.Smith_Three Figures.jpg).

Delivery of Work
In-person drop-off or delivery to arrive at Noho-M55 Gallery (Attn:TSGNY) December 12th through December 15th between 11-6. Artists are responsible for all costs for shipping/delivery to the exhibit, and return at the end. If return shipping is required, a prepaid shipping label MUST be included with work. FEDEX EXPRESS ONLY (major problems have been experienced with UPS including theft, and Fedex Express can be relied upon to pick up work after take-down and make sure it is delivered promptly)

Return of Work
In-person pick-up of works will take place at Noho-M55 Gallery on Saturday January 6 from 6 to 8:30 PM. Shipped works will be mailed on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.

Sale of Work
Artwork should be priced to include a 35% commission. Work must remain on view until the exhibition closes. The artist will be responsible for delivering work to the buyer.

Liability
Although the gallery is very secure and has had no history of incidents, artists are responsible for insuring their own works in transit and on exhibit.
